The Warsaw of the 21 st century is associated mainly with congestion, road repairs and redevelopments. Although many people keep complaining that the city is too crowded, has too few parking spaces, the construction of the underground is taking too long, and the traffic difficulties and the smog are a nuisance, there are still those willing to live in Warsaw or to come here on various occasions, including sports events, theatre plays and concerts, as well as for professional reasons – to participate in fairs, conferences and sometimes demonstrations.
The city is expanding, and every free space is used to build a new office or residential building. We don’t forget, however, to visit our parks, museums and exhibitions; we can take night walks with lanterns around the Royal Łazienki, see the picturesque Royal Light Garden in Wilanów, the Fountain Park on 1 Dywizji Pancernej WP Square, the Book Fair at the PGE National Stadium, and many more attractions.
